Rosemary-Lemon Salmon
Ingredients
- 1 ½ pounds salmon fillets, skin removed
- lemon pepper to taste
- garlic powder to taste
- salt to taste
- ⅓ cup soy sauce
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- ⅓ cup water
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- 1 lemon, quartered
- 2 sprigs rosemary
Directions
- Season salmon fillets with lemon pepper, garlic powder, and salt.
- In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, water, and vegetable oil together and whisk until the sugar is dissolved.
- Squeeze one quarter of the lemon into the sauce. Lightly crush the rosemary sprigs with the back of a wooden spoon and add directly to the mixture.
- Place salmon fillets in a gallon size food storage bag and add the marinade – rosemary springs included! Seal, turn the bag to coat the fish, and stick it in the fridge for 2+ hours.
- Preheat your grill to medium heat and lightly oil the grate.
- Remove fish from the marinade and place on the hot grill. Discard the marinade.
- Salmon cooks quickly – about 6-8 minutes per side. Grill until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Serve with a fresh squeeze of lemon juice, if desired. Enjoy!
